How we work

We are a small firm, we do not have any reception or admin staff so if you phone our office you will be straight through to someone who can help.

Most of our work is now conducted virtually, however, clients are always welcome to attend our offices for meetings or to drop off records if that’s easier.

    Daniel Rudd, FCA

    Director

    I am the founder of the firm and a Chartered Accountant with 30 years of professional experience. I moved home back to Dorset to start the firm because it's a great place to live and bring up a family.

    I enjoy working with small businesses because the advice and support we provide can make a real difference.

    In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, and keeping fit.

    Senior Manager

    I’ve been part of the Dorset Accountancy team for over 15 years, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2020. I’ve built up a wealth of experience and enjoy working closely with clients to understand their businesses and provide practical, straightforward advice.

    Away from the office, I enjoy keeping active. I’m a keen runner and cyclist and spend much of my spare time training, getting outdoors and taking part in races and events.

    Oscar Rudd

    Trainee Chartered Accountant

    I’m a trainee-chartered accountant, currently working towards my ACA qualification which I began when I joined the team in June 2025.

    Before changing careers to accountancy, I served in the Royal Navy as an electronic warfare specialist, which enabled me to develop key analytical and teamworking skills.

    In my spare time I enjoy sailing, going to the gym and being outside.
